My apologies for the lack of consistent posts lately, I started a new job about a month ago so my schedule has been going through some changes! I seem to find the time to snap my outfits more than I find the time to post about them. So I’ll work on that!
Anyway, this is an outfit from so far back I don’t even remember what I wore it to! I think it was just a casual Friday night look for hitting a couple of chill bars. You know, like those places that are middle ground between dive and swanky lounge. I remember it being really hot, so in classic Renee fashion I kept it as breezy as possible! I have had the top for a while, like several years, and I honestly can’t remember who made it. It was either Free People or Rebecca Taylor, but I cut the tag out because the sheer fabric showed through and it was quite distracting. Both the front and back of this top are an extremely deep V, so this is one you want to pair with a lace bralette for sure. And definitely a longline bustier style, not a little triangle bralette or you will be showing some serious skin! You want it to peek out but still cover you a little or the look is just too much for anything other than the beach.
The shorts are a couple years old as well, from Sabo Skirt in Australia, but this look can easily be recreated with some pieces I’ve seen floating around online at several places. A nice, cool, breezy look for a casual night out, without compromising comfort. WIN.
