They were unlike anything I had in my closet currently, yet I knew they would go so well with tons of things I already had. Leather trimmed shirts, mineral wash tees, rock tees, graphic tees, and all of my neutral sweaters for winter. Case in point, we had a low-key Saturday night where I wanted to be super comfortable, warm enough to not need a jacket, but with some sort of heel. I was itching to pull out these pants for the first time, and the backless cream sweater added just the right amount of sexy while still letting the crazy pants shine. This is an extremely easy way to take something bold, like a pair of crazy-printed pants, and make them extremely wearable and not over the top…by keeping everything else understated. I added in my favorite black ankle cuff sandals and it was the right blend of cozy and edginess. And my go-to neutral studded bag toughened it up a bit too.
